Suzanne Roberts’ memoir, Almost Somewhere: Twenty-Eight Days on the John Muir Trail, is forthcoming from
the University of Nebraska Press in September, 2012. She is the author of four poetry collections, most recently Three Hours to Burn a Body: Poems on Travel (2011) and Plotting Temporality (Pecan Grove Press, 2012). She holds a doctorate in literature and the environment from the University of Nevada-Reno and teaches at Lake Tahoe Community College and for the low residency MFA program at Sierra Nevada College.
