George Korolog is an active member of The Stanford Writers Studio. His work has appeared in Poets&Artists,
Red River Review, Poetry Quarterly, Connotation Press, Seventh Circle Press, Willows Wept Review, Contemporary Haibun, Stone Highway Review, Riverbabble, Blue Fifth, Grey Sparrow Journal, Blue Lake Review, The Centrifugal Eye and in The Whittaker Prize Anthology, From Here To There and Back. His poem, “From tending sheep to confusion on the Amtrak 10:50” won second prize in the 2011 Tom Howard/John H. Reid Poetry Contest. He was a runner-up in 2012 in the Contemporary American Poetry Prize for his poem, “Soul Stone.” He is compiling his first book, Raw String.
