Lizz Schumer is a writer, reporter and photographer living and working in Buffalo, N.Y. As a writer, Lizz draws her inspiration from the experience of living, working and playing in the Queen City, to various effects. Lizz writes creative nonfiction, fiction, poetry and assorted miscellany, not always (in fact, not often) in that order. She works as a reporter at a small newspaper south of Buffalo during the day and teaches creative writing workshops in the evenings. She is studying for her MFA in creative writing at Goddard College.
