Michael Lipsey grew up in Chicago, a city that does not like to waste words, and after forty years in California, the Chicago still shows in his writing. He read the Great Books at Shimer College and remains an active observer of intellectual, religious and popular culture.
He has written many articles on management, employment, remodeling, music, dance, and community issues, When he isn't writing, he gardens, creates lacquered mirrors with quotations, and enjoys folk dancing; and gives thanks every day for the splendor of Marin County, California. Michael is currently completing the story of a plumbing company over its thirty year history, and his day is never complete without a new epigram for his third, and possibly final book in the I Thought So – A Book of Epigrams series published by Lost Coast Press.
