Nicky Ellam is currently an undergraduate at The University of Hull in the UK. She started writing poetry and short stories in 2009,
and her work has been published in the UK, the US and Australia. When she is not studying, Nicky co-edits a small printed zine called Eclectic Eel and helps to organise, as well as co-host a monthly spoken word open mic night based in Hull called Fresh Ink.
