Jessica Keener’s debut novel, Night Swim, launched to great acclaim in 2012, becoming a national bestseller and garnering praise from notable publications such as The New York Times, which called Night Swim “earnest” and “moving,” The Boston Globe, which said: “Keener’s observations perfectly capture a certain kind of 1970s adolescence”; And, the Jewish Book Council, which said: "Keener’s writing is lovely; she manages to build sentences that are both precise and ornate.” A New England native who spent childhood summers on Cape Cod, Keener is a recipient of a Massachusetts Cultural Council grant, and co-author of a book about the founder of Dunkin’ Donuts (Time to Make the Donuts).
