Jennifer O’Grady’s poems have appeared in Harper’s, The New Republic, Poetry, The Yale Review and numerous otherplaces, and have been anthologized and featured on The Writer’s Almanac and Poetry Daily. Her first book, White, won the Mid-List Press First Series Award for Poetry; it was published by Mid-List in 1999 and is still in print. She is also a playwright and the author of a number of plays including Juggling with Mr. Fields, which received a staged reading at Twilight Theater Productions in 2014, and Quasars, a monologue from which will appear in The Best Women’s Stage Monologues of 2014 (Smith and Kraus) and Best Contemporary Monologues for Women 18-35 (Applause Theater & Cinema Books). Other honors include a Pushcart Prize nomination. She lives with her husband, son, and daughter just outside New York City.
